The Charles J. Strosacker Foundation recently recognized Coleman Community Schools Agriscience/STEM program by awarding $90,000 payable over three years to support additional programming, classroom materials, industry-level credentialing and certifications, attendance to National and State FFA conferences, scholarship awards and college credit fees for K-12 students, including those from other county schools that attend the Coleman Regional Agriscience Center Career-Technical Education (CTE) program.

Davenport University announced gifts totaling $210,000 from two foundations committed to the Midland community. The Charles J. Strosacker Foundation and the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation are supporting the university’s new Health and Science Innovations for Workforce Preparedness initiative, which aims to equip students with cutting-edge tools and technologies that will enhance health care education and directly address workforce shortages in Michigan.
